Jedda Farm

Enzo going around the stock

Jedda Farm is a small 5-acre farmette in Core, West Virginia specializing in raising sheep and promoting the herding dog for use in it’s original purpose.

The name “Jedda” is the aboriginal word for “little goose” and pays homage to my dog Willow’s goose busting heritage via Karen Cox and Kcee’s ACDs. Our mission is to help promote the use of dogs in livestock management by providing stock rental and selling dog broke sheep. We also, on a very limited basis, are a preservation breeder of AKC Australian Cattle dogs. Lambs are marketed to the local community as they become available. Check the Sheep page.

Willow getting to the heads to cover - at Keepstone Farm

Herding is a wonderful heritage “sport” and herding dogs are invaluable to the stockman in his/her daily chores. I invite folks to the farm to come practice on dog broke stock. I am not a trainer but I am happy to refer you to some excellent ones nearby: new dogs must be evaluated by me on stock before being allowed to rent. Offering instinct evaluations.
