Puppies are living creatures and they are a product of both genetics and environment. I, Zoe, am Jedda ACDs and I (with the help of my mentors and peers) do everything I can to make sure the dogs I breed are healthy. We do all recommended testing to obtain OFA CHICs on the dogs. We also test beyond the scope of just what’s required which includes testing for all variations of NCL, DM, patella evaluations, and spine evaluations. I am one of very few cattle dog folks here in America that test for spine health. I am happy to share the raw imaging and results to prospective buyers directly, but all evaluations can be found published on OFA and linked to on each dog’s personal page. I research pedigrees, meet the dogs behind them and relatives, and do everything in my power to ensure the best possible outcome in a litter. I am totally transparent in my evaluation practices and in the results of those evaluations and breeding decisions. I breed by the standard and to preserve the breed. This includes testing for working ability and evaluating the dogs both personally and through judges for temperament, biddability, drive, physical soundness and conformation. Our breeding philosophy ensures we do everything we can to produce a healthy well bred puppy.

Your puppy is guaranteed to be unaffected by the three major genetic eye disorders PLL, PRA, PRCD4. Your puppy is guaranteed to be unaffected by NCL and DM. I do not make guarantees on anything that I cannot with 100% certainty predict or control. Thus I do not make guarantees on conditions which could have an environmental cause even if there would be a genetic predisposition. Even with the best of intentions genetics are never a guarantee. I guarantee that if you purchase a puppy from me you will be assured you are buying the best puppy I can breed because I’m breeding for myself first. I do not breed indiscriminately, I do not breed for color, I do not breed without considering the standard. Every breeding is done with the intention of bettering the breed and for continuing on a line of excellent working and performance dogs. I breed to produce a dog that is better than its sire and dam, and to preserve the Australian Cattle Dog as the dog it was intended to be. I will stand behind every dog that I produce for their entire lives.
