Can we talk about color?

I’ve had actual conversations with breeders who say they would wash a dog for creeping tan or melanistic mask. Long story short, color has zero bearing on workability so color should be at the very bottom of the totem pole of priorities. Australian Cattle Dogs have much bigger fish to fry in the way of faults than having red past the cheeks on a blue dog.
